RE: Sunday 10 March
You can catch fish all 12 months of the year. Different fish will have different peak periods. As long as you are not picky about which fish you wish to target, you can do well all year.

The important thing is just go fishing. It doesn't matter what weather, what time of day or what season. You can't catch fish sitting in front of the computer or the TV Wink

Some of the best fishing days I had were also the worst weather. Catching 24 pike in a thunderstorm with lightning all around and heavy downpour...catching whitefish all day in a blizzard when you can't even see 20 feet in front of you...catching steelhead, brown trout and white sucker on a clear, calm and hot day in crystal clear water at noon...catching bass with topwater at night under the Perseids metoer shower...catching over 50 walleye in 4 hours in a tannin stained back bay at noon in 4 feet of water with spinnerbaits in a 30km/h east wind...just go fish...it doesn't matter...you can't catch fish if your line is not in the water.

Malama o ke kai

Caution - Objects in picture are smaller than they appear. I am genetically predisposed to make fish look bigger.

Life List: 577 species and counting (2016: 91 new species)
