So Pat and I went back to casting across the culvert mouth. On my second cast across, another snakehead blew up on my frog! Again, the hook didn’t set!!!

Ken, which make/model of frog were you throwing? Sucks that the hooks didn't set!.. TWICE! I can see how this would have haunted you!

Same thing happened to me last night when I was floating a beach toy around a local pond and throwing Dollarama frogs.... two huge bass explosions... feeling the weight of the fish... but the darn frog didn't set! Even after giving the fish a second or two to eat the frog...

Very frustrating!

Nonetheless, going from dead quiet to massive fish explosion is addictive..
