I have light-up floats from DealExtreme that have the same weird rope thing on the bottom and no place to thread the line. So I have the same questions as you LOL.
What I did is just using a rubber band to secure the float tight to the line... but I don't think that's the proper way to do it. I really wonder what that rope thing on the bottom of the float does! ![[Image: logobgs.png]](http://ontarioshorefishing.com/images/logobgs.png)
