Hi Bill,
Welcome to OSF. It's never too late to get into (or back into) the excellent sport of fishing. There are a few posts here from London area members. I do believe the Thames can provide you a start, and a casting practice spot. Start simple with live worms........read a bunch......... enjoy. Cheers, OldTimer <>< I once gave up fishing.
