I find aiming at nearby structures to be very effective when you have live bait, even with worms, the small pan fishes do lure in bigger fish as they follow the smaller fish in, just gotta have patien... |

For shore fishing...
Good walking shoes or hiking boots...if you are serious about catching fish, you will be walking LOTS...so bet... |

Must haves? Rod, reel, line, knife, small tackle bag with species specific tackle. In all my years of shore fishing I have never found myself wishing i had a net. |

Welcome. You should try targeting Carp, I just got into fishing for them and they are a blast, and they can be found almost anywhere and can be caught on very simple set ups!
