RE: Brown trout in the tribs.
This morning I got up early at 6:00 and drove toward the bridge at the intersection of steels street and 9th line. I reached there at 6:30 and parked my car on the south-east side of steels street just at the bridge, then I walk along the river on the east bank toward the north. observing the river structures at the same time. I passed through the train bridge after walking 10 minutes and found the hole behind the dam. It was still dark at that time and It's very hard to setup my rigs in such a darkness. some snowflakes are falling down but it's not very cold. the color of the water is murky and the speed of river is medium. I cast about 10 times and have no biting. then it's time to go back to send my son to the kindergarten. it's very horrible that there was a traffic jam and I was nearly late.

RE: Brown trout in the tribs.
Having rained for 2 days, I am wondering whether there are any browns in the Rouge river of Markham.

RE: Brown trout in the tribs.
I'm really hoping they are. Give them some time to swim all the way up but I'm gonna say the weekend would be a great time for fishing.
