RE: New Brunswick/Bay of Fundy
The maritime anglers seem fairly secretive on line, - even more "protective" than "up here"..........maybe it's seen as taking employment away from the guides - who knows?

........ just try and get GOOD on line info on Striper fishing as an example..............

OT

<>< I once gave up fishing. It was the most terrifying weekend of my life. ><>

See you on the river.

Well, if the rivers they recommended were "guide required" waters, then they'd be giving the guides business, not taking it away...

You're not kidding!
I tried joining a NB forum as I'll be there in May and have some questions...and they wouldn't active my account.

Hmm...maybe they read my previous comment in this thread and were worried about their bridgesBig Grin

hey OT I will ask my brother who has a place 5 minutes from the Bay, he has been there 4 years in the summer only. Bought the place to fix up for retirement. last year he bought a small piece of land that has water front on the Bay where he gets stripers. We have talked briefly re: stripers but not in depth. I am planning late August early September as I hear this is a good time. The locals he has met are loosening up with spots inland as well.

RE: New Brunswick/Bay of Fundy
I'd definitely love to see a follow up post with a fishing report with pics when you do finally go.... I've been planning a fishing trip to NB in a couple or so years.

Work is a necessity... Fishing is a lifestyle Smile
