RE: Difficulty of fish..
Answer depends on so many variables.
For example: Rock Bass for me in some lakes I fish are like M.A’s creek chub in his local creeks – there’s LOTS of ‘em present and they’ll hit most everything presented in their blind purpose competition for food in order to survive……….. hence: real easy to catch……… Maybe…………………. Catch either of these species 8 miles out on Lake Ontario…………… no doubt – real tough sledding…….. Another example – I used to think that catching Muskie was a super tough thing to do – but once I had the opportunity to fish with a knowing friend on the “right water” with the “right gear” at the “right time” , etc… - we caught fish more regularly than most. However, I would say that in my days - the toughest fish for me to catch (when I knew they were actually present, and I’d actually seen them) was a large RESIDENT river (not lake run) Brown Trout. I did eventually get one – but I became close to a compulsive fishin’ maniac psycho to do it. Hmmmm………… perhaps I should fish for M.A.’s “disturbed” fish? …smile Cheers, OldTimer <>< I once gave up fishing. It was the most terrifying weekend of my life. ><> See you on the river. |
