Yesterday I noticed the tip of my rod was cracking. It was telescoping so I fished on the rest of the day with the last section folded in.

when I got home I smothered the cracking area in epoxy. I figured, "fiberglass is cured with epoxy so might as well cover it with epoxy again".

The rod's good as new! Lucky for me I noticed the crack before I put more stress on it.
