Fish identification
so I recently went fishing at brewer park under neath the Bronson street bridge and caught this fish an wasn't sure of the species .

The scales behind its head are uniform which cancels out common shiner (Muskiebait taught me this one). Striped Shiners have uniform scaling in this region, but I don't think it's one. The scales are quite large which leads me to Fallfish (and the fact I know there are Fallfish in Ottawa). I would love to be corrected on this one however (it's where the learning comes in!).

I'd be leaning towards fallfish as well. I don't see any the scattered "dark" scales I usually see on common shiners.
