It’s a bit earlier this year and NOT during the school break as it has been in the past. It's a good place to see some new gear, but good deals are a thing of the past. I don't go anymore...they end up taking away more of my fishing money.
 My gear is pretty good now so I really have no need to spend there...plus, they don't have any of the saltwater gear I need.If you just like to go check out new gear, it's a great place to see what 2013 can bring. I don't buy much gear either........
My lady likes the dogs and I get a kick outta talkin' to some of the booth reps........... like MNR, guides and such. It should be interesting to see what it's like without swarms of kids - since it's not during the March break. Too bad Purvis Fisheries won't have a booth there for this show........... their smoked sturgeon is the BEST on the planet OT <>< I once gave up fishing. It was the most terrifying weekend of my life. ><> See you on the river. |
