Pflueger is much better. WaveSpin is another thing to suck money out of people's wallet...for a poor product...kinda like the Banjo Minnow (no, I didn't buy any of those...)
I love my Pflueger. If only the can get rid of that silly 3-piece spoon construction...it's pretty annoying that you cannot service your drag without losing a spool of line... So far I've been impressed with Ken's reels, they seem very solid and half the cost of comparable shimanos! I did buy the President reel in the summer, but there was a "bump" in the retreive... probrably defective. I returned it and bought a used shimano sedona for $30 off Kijiji... that's all I need for now... LOL for now... Parts are in order for my busted old Abu Cardinal C3

This is going to be awesome!
Its a great fit for the 13ft interline and balances out really well when the rod is extended. Gonna be a busy fishing weekend for me! Taking this out for a session on Saturday, Balloon float rig at TTP on Sunday and the Whirlpool on Monday....

The new Pflueger is kicking ass! I put in a pre-dawn session down at the basin this morning and the drag was awesome!

Nice and smooth for the big girls Myself, after fishing years with 20-something-year-old-never-been-serviced reels, smooth drag is nice. I have carbontex washers on order for my Abu Garcia, looking forward to doing some carping with it next spring!
