I think that may be a bit over the top. I think it would only be if someone wanted to share their methods. But it's not something that really needs to be disclosed. It doesn't provide enough significance to be included Tongue

I agree. Rig and bait/lure choice changes day by day, sometimes by the minute. It doesn't really add significance to the entry.

I would suggest printing a new badge for each calender month, or else a fish out of season could be kept and entered later when in season...

Or perhaps you could use that days (or fairly recent) front page headline area of a recognized newspaper in the picture. And require that all entries be posted within 1 week of that species season closing.

If we're going to see these newspapers "featured" in the picture, we need them to be sponsors. How's that for an idea, Michael? TongueWinkBig Grin

On a serious note, point taken from both MikeH and OT. There is a need to prove capture dates to address season issues. I just can't think of any method that does not require carrying extra proof of date (a piece of newspaper clipping will not last long in my case...it'll get wet and soggy very quickly). Camera time stamp can be used as a proof of date...but that can be manipulated as well.

Caution - Objects in picture are smaller than they appear. I am genetically predisposed to make fish look bigger.
