The mono did the trick! I spent an hour back on soft water today casting a 1/32 and 1/16 oz jigs (with a bobber) without any additional weight and I did not get any multiple coil releases or birdnests.
Thanks OT! I didn't catch anything but I think that's a totally separate problem
